Owner sourced unused Triumph Speed Triple front & rear suspension to use for a single side conversion on the Honda
The wheels & braking system front & rear from the Speed Triple also being retained for the project.
Cognito Moto in the USA supplied bespoke steering stem to fit Triumph yokes directly to Honda frame.
Steering stops on frame modified to keep larger upside down fork clear of the tank.
Rear frame modified to remove twin shock mounts and surplus tubing to allow new seat mounting & support tubes to be added.
New mountings for rearsets supplied by owner fabricated.
Aftermarket seat unit supplied by owner with some light trimming at the rear to improve the finished appearance.
Repairs to rust damaged area under the seat as required.
Underseat Battery carrier fabricated to hold battery sideways for reduced visual impact.
Speed Triple single sided swinging arm required some machining & modification at the pivot to install in Honda Frame.
Offset front sprocket is required to clear the larger section Speed Triple rear tyre.
New mountings manufactured top & bottom to retain speed Triple linkage & shock.
New mounting for rear master cylinder fabricated to customer preference.
Bespoke side panels fabricated to blend with the angular line of the CB tank, seat support tubes & provide a more streamlined look than original.
Final assembly & paintwork by owner along with Mikuni Carb conversion from Murray’s Carbs USA.
